Short Story "Harrison Bergeron" By Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
This project I was prompted to mimic the style of Harry Campbell's artwork. The story Harrison Bergeron is a dystopian short story about equality being enforced throughout the world and those who try to be better are given limitations in order to create this equality. The people are only as intelligent as their weakest link and the limitations are applied to those smarter including the main character. Limitations such as headphones, weights, and disruptive classes are put on the main character due to his superior smarts. In this piece I decided to showcase the brain being disturbed and held back by sounds and complications that the character faces in the story.
