This project was done during my time I was a graphic design intern at Pink Jacket Studio in Dallas. I had the opportunity to present a design option to Club Dada and they liked my idea enough they chose it to be made into a full website. This project was a daunting task especially since it was my first one on the job with such an iconic business in the Deep Ellum area. The clients wanted a bright and fun website rather than the typical dark and angsty look competitors use. The colors used were taken from the facade of the building with the funky design and colors that draw people into the club. I used the crown from their logo as a motif in the website specifically on the calendar, placing important date information for each show. Another motif was the parallelogram shape used in their logo for buttons as well as FAQ question dropdowns. It was a great experience from learning to design a website with photoshop to preparing it for web developers.
